- What is my uid?Your uid is your Unique Identification.
In Counter-Strike:Source this is your STEAM_ID. You can find out your uid by typing
!uid into chat on any server enabled with FBG.
It will be in a format similar to STEAM_0:1:234567.
- What is a verification code?A verify code is a 3 digit code we use to ensure the STEAM_ID entered when an FBG profile is created belongs to the person creating the profile.
- How does the Verify code work? When you create a profile you will see a !verify code on your profile page:
To activate your profile, join any FBG enabled server and type that code into chat. In this example you would open chat ingame and enter:
!verify 188 - My verify code doesn't work, I get message "You do not have a profile..."?This will happen if you did not enter your STEAM_ID correctly when you created your profile. When you type in your
!verify code ingame, Final Battleground will read your correct STEAM_ID directly from the game server and so will be unable to match it to your FBG profile with the incorrect STEAM_ID.
To resolve this, simply delete your profile with the incorrect STEAM_ID (you will not have gathered any stats yet) and create a new one using the correct STEAM_ID. You can get your STEAM_ID by typing
!uid into chat while on any Final Battleground enabled server.
- I forgot my security answer, what do I do?If you have forgotten your security answer you may
open a support ticket. Please include the date of birth you entered when creating your FBG account as proof of identity. If you can, log into your account before opening the ticket.
If you feel you may have entered a false date of birth when you created your account, please include what you think you may have entered as your date of birth and also what you believe your security answer may be, sometimes this will be enough for us to confirm your identity if there is a small spelling difference between your actual security answer and what you believe it to be.
- I have a new steam account, can I change my STEAM ID?No, we will no longer change STEAM ID (the unique ID) of a profile under any circumstance. More info in this topic:
