Final Battleground collects a vast degree of gaming statistics, and we are pleased to offer our data to the world through a simple to use Application Programming Interface (API).
Web site and application developers can use the API to query about profiles hosted on the Final Battleground (other data will be made available at a later date). This allows you to add real-time gaming statistics to your own personal web site, desktop application or however you wish to use it.
NOTE: This API is currently in beta and service descriptions and availability may change at any time.
Also, it is important to note that during this beta period, the API is currently open without restriction.
Please be gentle!EditAccessing The API
To get started using the API, you must be familiar with how to use REST-based web services. For a brief overview of how REST works (and what requirements you need), please see this
Wikipedia article.
Web frameworks such as PHP, ASP.NET, Perl and many more all include REST support. Please see your framework documentation for more details about how to access REST services.
Visual Studio developers may also access the services directly using the service browser and subsequently using the generated proxy classes (or roll your own if you're adventurous).
